MOM in Power BI - London Underground Temperatures

Recently, I took part in a Makeover Monday challenge using Power BI to further develop my data visualisation and analytical skills. The dataset for this challenge focused on temperature readings from the London Underground, segmented by month and year. My objective was to transform the raw data into meaningful insights by designing an interactive report that clearly communicated trends such as seasonal temperature patterns and long-term fluctuations across the network.

As part of this project, I also explored one of Power BI’s more visually striking features: the gauge visual. I have always been intrigued by how this visual can distil complex metrics into simple, instantly understandable formats, making it ideal for highlighting key performance indicators at a glance. Incorporating the gauge visual reinforced my appreciation for the role of clear, intuitive visuals in effective data storytelling.

To showcase the outcome, I have embedded the full Power BI report above for you to explore. Feel free to interact with it and see how the various visual elements come together to provide insights into the London Underground's temperature data.
