Robbin Vernooij

Collecting, processing and making sense out of data have been at the centre point of Robbin’s interest ever since starting university in his home country, the Netherlands. Pursuing a joint-PhD in chemotherapeutics at Monash (AUS) & Warwick (UK), big data sets came in daily, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Keen to translate and present complex data sets for everyone to understand is one of the things he enjoys doing most.

Being exposed to Alteryx and Tableau opened up a whole new world of streamlined data processing, which was often missing at during his previous roles. The Data School will be an amazing new challenge in order to continue to fast-track his experience in big data science.

Apart from data, Robbin has a passion for rugby, as a previous player/team manager/coach and nowadays; supporter, as well as motorbikes.
