We have tasked to improve accessibility while we design our dashboard today. Considering general principles such as dashboard being perceivable, navigable, adaptable, and distinguishable.

Dataset: Fix My Street via the Urban Big Data Centre
(Data is about potholes reported in Glasgow,  data set also includes pothole category, Id, location, full address etc.)

Step 1
I have checked the data set in Alteryx in order to see if any data preparations needed.

-Got rid of the duplications on records.

-Saved the results to be used in Tableau.

Step 2

Created a dashboard in a way that a user who has only access to the dashboard from a touchscreen can have accessibility to the dashboard, and also when needed a screen reader application can be used in order to read out every text in the dashboard.
Additionally choose Tableau fonts for all texts in the dashboard, knowing some of the fonts cannot be shown on some devices, and choose colours for users are colour-blind.
