War on Attrition- Fin

The last challenge for Dashboard Week was to look at some HR data and help discover the reasons people may be leaving a fake company called Everest.

My initial plan was to create an overview of all of the people who had left the company and highlight some of the areas which may be helpful in identifying people who may be at risk of leaving.

The KPI's were to be used as an overview of the Department, Gender and Average Age of the people which had left the company. I also decided to add some contextual information to help supplement the KPI's, in the form of some research done on resignations across the world.

The final dashboard ended up being relatively close to my plans as I captured the main elements I wanted to showcase. The empty space in the plan was then filled with a Measure Switching bar chart which users could then choose the factor they wish to investigate, to see if they were contributing to people resigning.

Positives of my dashboard:

It provides a detailed overview on the potential factors contributing to people resigning.

The information provides context and insight into problems on a bigger scale.

Limitations of my dashboard:

I would like to have the contextual information only appear when selecting the relevant factor.
