This blog series is about small tips and techniques in Tableau but this has got to be up there in terms of simplicity. I won't draw it out any further:
- Right click on your dashboard's tab at the bottom Tableau
- Click 'Hide All Sheets'
Simple as that! This way, your workspace will be much neater and manageable. This is even more true if you have a lot of worksheets within your dashboard(s).
If you want to make the worksheets reappear then right click it again and click 'Unhide All Sheets'. If you'd like to edit the worksheet having hidden it just click on the worksheet on the dashboard itself and click 'Go to Sheet' below the white cross (Remove from dashboard).
Note: Unused worksheets cannot be hidden.
