Today's project was to prep and create a dashboard using data from GitHub which you can find here: https://github.com/the-pudding/data/tree/master/boybands

Prepping the data was very simple, I mostly did a quick formatting clean up and calculated the age of each boy band member.

For the dashboard I wanted to create something that mirrored an old school magazine quiz, for example the quizzes you would do to find out what character you are from your favourite TV show. So I created four parameters that enable the user to choose the characteristics of the boy band member, which filters the view as you go along. After those steps there are two more filters to narrow down to the band of your choice, and the band member to get your final result. You can then view the bio of that band member on the bottom right of the dashboard and go to the YouTube link for the music video for that band member which was listed in the Billboard Hot 100 list.
