Packaging Alteryx Workflow

Alteryx runs weekly challenges and if you want to submit your solutions to those challenges you need to provide your workflow. Here is a link to the challenge page: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Weekly-Challenge/Weekly-Challenge-Index-amp-Welcome/td-p/48275

I was completing one of the challenges and decided to publish my workflow as a packaged workbook. This way the file includes not just the workflow itself but also the input tables that were used. Such that everything is packaged up in one file rather than separate ones with inputs, workflow, and output. The file is saved as a .yxzp. Here is how you package a workflow:

Step 1

Select “Options” > “Export Workflow”

Step 2

In a subsequent window you need to specify where you want your packaged workflow to be saved to. Click “Browse” and select your folder.

That is it, you have packaged your workflow!
