Brief that we received this morning:
Today's task is to take one of Season 2's Real World Fake Data (#RWFD), which is based off of Tableau's Accelerators. Each topic has a list of questions you should aim to answer, but I want the team to think of any additional questions they could answer with the data they have, or the data they could have.
Requirements:
- Pick from one of the following topics:
Citizen Service Requests (Data)
Note only 2 people per topic - Work independently
- Blog post by 4pm with their recommendations on other potential questions.
It was a challenging day. After having a quick read about CSR and having a look into Salesforce dashboard, I started planning. Taking under consideration number of questions I wanted to answer and finding a way how to visualise them, it was a big chunk of work to do.
The additional assignment was, what other questions should we ask or try to answer. From my side, I would like to see the data in regards to population of particular neighborhoods, as well as how big are the departments handling those requests. It would be interesting to see number of requests per citizens in particular neighborhoods and number of requests per department employee who handle those requests. It could give some insights about the number of days it takes to solve a request.
For the future, I should manage my time better. Scope less questions to answer and give myself enough time to discover additional insights.
