Andrew is a data-driven professional with hands-on experience analysing complex datasets to drive actionable insights. At CluePoints, he worked as a Central Monitor, where he analysed clinical trial data to identify and mitigate risks to patients in real-time. His role required critical thinking, collaboration across global teams, and a keen eye for detail, skills that sparked his deeper interest in using data to solve problems and tell stories.
With a background in Economics, Andrew has always been curious about how data shapes the world around us, from financial markets to social trends. What began as university projects using Python to analyse stock data has evolved into a genuine passion for visual analytics and the tools that support them. He’s particularly drawn to how platforms like Tableau and Power BI make it possible to explore data creatively and communicate findings clearly. The Data School has given Andrew the technical foundation to build on these skills and gain industry-leading training and experience in tools like SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau. He values environments that are hands-on, collaborative, and built around curiosity - qualities he sees reflected in The Data School's approach.
Outside of work, Andrew is a keen sports enthusiast. He has played football regularly for over a decade, enjoys a competitive game of tennis, and often draws inspiration from sport for his data projects. He also loves travelling, having explored destinations across Southeast Asia and Europe, and is always planning his next trip.
