Hi, I'm Janina.
I’m a data consultant who genuinely enjoys taking data apart, understanding how things connect, and making sense of what I find. I’ve been working with data for more than 15 years, across global operations, sustainability, data science, and analytics.
For 10 years, I was part of the global sales team at COS, where data analysis was central to my work in global store operations and sustainability.
Wanting to take this further, I completed a six-month Data Science and Machine Learning bootcamp, before staying on as a Data Science Mentor. I love diving deeply into new tools and concepts, and tend to learn fastest by building something with them straight away.
Today, I work as a Data Consultant, analyzing complex information and developing solutions for clients. Having originally trained in design, I have a particular strength in translating complex analyses into clear, intuitive dashboards. For me, good design is not an afterthought, but an essential part of making information accessible and usable.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring data journalism and learning D3.js. You can also find me completely offline, anchoring on a lake with my historic boat, Martha.
