Kate Loder

Kate holds a Bsc in Psychology from University of Exeter. The statistical and research methodology aspect of the course sparked her passion for data analytics, using data to understand patterns in human behaviour and decision-making. For her dissertation, Kate explored the conscious and unconscious expressions of COVID-related anxiety in university students, which involved collecting, analysing and using data to draw conclusions. Through a series of data-driven projects in her final year, focused on tackling real-world issues, she developed a strong interest in applying analytics to practical, real-world challenges.

After graduating, Kate took the opportunity to travel and explore a variety of cultures, before returning to the UK to begin working as an insights analyst. Kate's role quickly evolved from a traditional marketing position into a more data-focused function. She conducted the transformation of the company's monthly KPI reporting by replacing lengthy slide-based presentations with concise, interactive and easy to use tableau dashboards. These proved essential to guiding marketing strategy and supporting data-driven decision making.

In her spare time, Kate enjoys running, playing netball, and trying out a variety of new recipes.
