Laura holds a PhD in molecular biology. She worked as a scientist in biomedical research, performed experiments and analyzed data to better understand disease mechanisms. Her deep curiosity led her to become a scientist and now she brings the same curiosity and analytical mindset to tackle real-world problems.
She has broadened her skillset in a data science bootcamp, where she analyzed and visualized data and developed machine learning algorithms using Python. The training at the Data School has expanded her skillset, taught her effective and creative ways of data visualization, and has given her experience tackling various real-world business problems and working with clients from different industries. She learned how to build dashboards that help clients make data-driven decisions.
