Nika studied Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Warwick before beginning her career in biotechnology as a Research Associate. During this time, she developed a growing interest in data analysis, enjoying the process of uncovering insights from complex datasets and using evidence to solve problems. This passion led her to join The Information Lab's Data School, where she is developing her skills in analytics and data visualisation.
Nika enjoys the continuous learning that comes with consulting and the opportunity to tackle a wide variety of problems. She is excited to apply her analytical skills in different industries while continuing to learn from new challenges and experiences.
She brings strong technical proficiency across the Tableau ecosystem, using Tableau Prep and Desktop to clean, reshape, and visualise data with a solid understanding of data structure, sources, and architecture. Her experience extends to Power Query and Alteryx for data preparation, alongside a keen eye for colour theory and dashboard interactivity through filters and parameters. She has built practical skills in workflow automation and ETL processes through hands-on engagement with Preppin' Data challenges. On the consulting side, she combines strong time management and client engagement skills with a clear approach to project scoping, enabling her to deliver useful, well-targeted outcomes for clients.
Outside of work, Nika enjoys challenging herself and building discipline through staying active. She loves running, hiking, and spending time outdoors. She is also an avid reader and enjoys both books and webcomics.
