Stefan Ladwig

Stefan began his technical career with a hands-on apprenticeship as an electrician, where he spent five years working in the field and developing practical problem-solving skills. This experience sparked a deeper curiosity for the world's underlying principles, guiding him to study physics and computer science at the university of Hamburg. While he enjoyed the theoretical knowledge gained from his studies, he found his true passion in applying that knowledge and skills to real-world scenarios.

Before joining The Data School, Stefan built a strong technical foundation through numerous university courses and personal projects, gaining extensive experience in math, programming and data visualization, primarily using Python (Matplotlib, Pandas) and C++. Away from the screen, he is a creator at heart, passionate about trying new things and acquiring new skills, from sewing and soldering microelectronics to woodworking.

SiB & Other Projects

TIL+ Project:

Stefan helped the client transition from Excel to Power BI for data analysis, focusing on developing a Power BI report for controlling and providing consultancy on data collection and storage. He gained experience with DAX and Power BI, learning the value of simplicity in design and effective teamwork. The project resulted in two detailed Power BI reports and supporting learning materials.
