From an early age, Stephan used Excel to analyze data and create visual representations — little did he know that this would eventually lead him to The Information Lab. After graduating from a business-focused high school, he studied business informatics for two years and worked in data management at a research company. When he moved to Hamburg, he attended a fair and discovered The Information Lab, which reignited his interest for data analysis.
Today, Stephan combines his economics background and technical skills aligned with the vision of helping people make sense of data by supporting both clients and colleagues at The Data School.
Outside of work, Stephan enjoys spending time in nature – whether hiking through forests, little walks in the park or skiing in winter - he likes being outside. He is passionate about languages and learning new ones, appreciating how this opens doors to new cultures and different perspectives.
