Tim began his career with a journey around the world, eventually settling in Canada, where he provided technical support for Apple. After permanently moving to London, he continued in this role for 12 years before deciding to pivot into a new field. Recognising the potential of data science and analytics, he saw an opportunity to apply his unique skill set in a more impactful way.
Tim's expertise includes programming languages such as R, SQL, and Python, which he developed while earning a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of York.
Along with programming, software skills include Tableau and Alteryx, put to use at BAE Systems in developing a dashboard to display business risks and mitigation actions, and another about incorrect and insufficient order data. He's also worked with Power BI, at Telefonica in Germany, rebuilding their dashboards as they prepared to transition from Tableau.
