Vivien graduated with a degree in Music and Business Management from the University of Southampton, where she developed an interest in data analytics and consultancy. Before joining The Data School, she worked as a peripatetic instrumental teacher where she taught lessons in music theory as well as piano and violin.
Vivien was drawn to this role for its collaborative atmosphere and its hands-on approach to tackling real data challenges. She has a natural curiosity and love for problem-solving, and has been enjoying the supportive and community-driven culture here. Working alongside others who share a passion for data is the perfect environment for her to thrive in.
Outside of work, Vivien will try any type of creative hobby. As a musician, she plays several instruments in her free time, and she also has a love for baking and trying out new recipes.
