Zainul Abedin Natha

Zain holds a First-Class Honours BSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Queen Mary University of London. His academic journey took a unique turn when he was awarded a scholarship to study at the Islamic University of Madinah, where he completed both a diploma in Arabic language and a bachelor's degree in Islamic sciences. This diverse educational background reflects his deep intellectual curiosity and commitment to lifelong learning.

Zain’s passion for data was sparked by his long-standing preference for visual learning. Even during university, he would summarise complex concepts into simplified diagrams to enhance understanding. His interest in data storytelling was fully ignited after watching Hans Rosling’s TED Talk on global population growth — a moment that revealed the power of well-visualised data to inform, inspire, and influence.

In addition to his work in data and analytics, Zain is a dedicated Arabic tutor and content creator. He launched a YouTube channel to help English-speaking learners read Arabic through a simplified, step-by-step approach. In response to growing demand from his audience, he published a series of workbooks designed to complement his video lessons — making Arabic learning more structured, accessible, and engaging.

Outside of work, Zain is a passionate Liverpool FC supporter and an enthusiastic sportsman. He enjoys playing football, tennis, padel, and badminton, and brings the same energy, focus, and competitive spirit to the court that he applies in his professional pursuits.
