After what’s felt like a lifetime (Read: 10 week) DS20 is finally underway, although in a slightly different way than I had imagined when I first applied. Working from home is an entirely different experience (obviously) but the supportive atmosphere from everyone in my cohort and the rest of the company really made a difference.

The highlight of today was completing makeover monday in an hour, it usually takes me all afternoon! I’ll be the first to admit, when we were told we’d only have an hour I panicked, sure I wouldn’t get anything worth publishing, I was wrong. By presentation time I was happy with what I’d produced.

This afternoon, although it was only a relatively simple task, really proved that I can already do more than I give myself credit for. I can’t wait to see with the help and support of everyone at the data school how I’ll develop and where I’ll be in 15 weeks and 4 days. (Thanks for the countdown Andy!)
