In today's session, we discussed project management and requirements gathering. In today's blog post I would like to talk about the kick off meeting. In my opinion the kick off meeting is a very essential part that can influence the course of the project. The more quality information I can gather about the customer's business and data, the easier it will be for the project to progress. The customer's wishes must be feasible and ideally we as consultants can already take important decisions from the customer during this discussion. If the understanding of the customer's business has become clear in the kick-off, any queries in the check-in are better and more structured. The goal setting is also simplified because unnecessary workflows can be eliminated in advance.
