Here’s a really simple tip when working with Alteryx: keep a Windows Explorer folder open with your input data files, apps and macros.

This allows you to drag your data and macros onto the canvas, opening them straight away. Dragging a csv onto the canvas will open up that csv as an Input tool.

Dragging a macro file onto the canvas will open up the macro as a new workflow.
