Last week we were able to experience a comprehensive workshop on the topics of project management, requirements gathering and the custumer projects by Moritz Schirmboek.

As we will start with the first of our eight Custumer Projects this week, our interest in this area was naturally particularly high. In the Custumer project, one team member will be given the role of project manager. Neither the management style nor the way of the project plan are prescribed.

However, for me it is clear that a good structure and clear communication is crucial for our success. This means, for example, documenting agreements with the customer and then reassuring ourselves in writing that we have understood the information or the order correctly.

Another important point is a project plan. A project starts on Monday and ends on Friday with a presentation. Every step must be well planned and constantly checked. All people and tasks must be coordinated. Time schedules have to be created, open questions have to be clarified. I am curious how our first project will run, what feedback we will receive and how we will develop further.
