Here we go again, another 4 months have flown by and DS34 are onto Dashboard week. Admittedly my favourite week of all! Yesterday they had their Day 1 challenge which was to build a dashboard that was accessibility friendly. Have a look at their blogs to see how they got on.
But onto today. Andy has a big list of data sources which he uses for certain things so I turned to him for some help with this one. Today’s challenge certainly is a big data set and it is all about Swiss Dwellings. This dataset contains detailed data on over 42,500 apartments (250,000 rooms) in ~3,100 buildings including their geometries, room typology as well as their visual, acoustical, topological and daylight characteristics. Lets see if they can put into practice all they have learnt over the past 16 weeks!
Requirements:
- You must work independently of each other
- Download the data from here
- Data Prep is allowed if you need it.
- Create a dashboard and publish it to Tableau Public by presentation time (3:00pm).
- Write a blog
- Please make sure you reference the dataset correctly!
