The task for dashboard day two was to build an infographic using marvel data from https://data.world/fivethirtyeight/avengers?ref=thedataschool.co.uk.
I decided that the story was female representation or lack their of in the marvel comics. I also wanted to use the opportunity to play with some new chart types.
I started with making a Sankey chart after struggelling for quite a while I stumbled across https://www.ladataviz.com/tools/advviz which makes the making of several complex charts in tableau much easier. Although it does mean that you give up allot of control by out sourcing the formation of the charts. I then decided to investigate the difference between the genders throughout the data set. Looking into appearances deaths and the ratios. I then spent a good hour trying to format everything using colors' from chat GPT. Overall I had a enjoyed trying some new charts in tableau and working on my design skills.
