Through this tweet from Alberto Cairo I discover the book Graphic Presentation, published in 1939 by Willard Cope Brinton, consider as one of the pioneers in information and data visualization and that it´s available in The Internet Archive for free and in different formats.

A more than recommended book to anyone interested in data visualization. It´s curious to see how more than 70 years ago some people started to worry about information visualization and wrote about techniques that we consider best practices today. Highly recommended.
