First day of The Data School complete!

I’ve been really looking forward to coming and I can only say that I’m excited for what’s to come. It was a great first day, looking into the company’s history, meeting the other DSers and getting a taste of what the next few months will be like.

The culture of support within the company is very refreshing and I imagine Convo is going to be one of the most valuable tools in our time here. If you don’t understand something, ask the question on Convo. If someone needs help and you know the answer, help them, and solidify your understanding. It will take some getting used to, but I get the impression it will be very much worth our time to be active on Convo.

Inspired by David’s blog (DS7), I plan to keep a record of my journeys to work (and possibly some other things too) and it will be interesting to see the results in 4 months time!
