I sprung a little surprise on DS10 yesterday afternoon and made them switch to Tableau 9 for their viz. So guess what? Today, they have to use v8!!!
Their project today is to analyze street level traffic data from the UK Department of Transportation.
- They each need to choose a different region.
- On the downloads page, they need to pick their region and each local authority and download the data for each local authority. This download will include the data for each year. There is a single download on the home page for everything, but that’s too easy. They need to practice Alteryx macros.
- Prep the data and and visualize it in Tableau 8.
