After a day 1 which saw DS18 sufficiently broken, we’ll go with a more fun topic for day 2…pinball machines.

The data comes from Pinball Map and the API includes data about the locations and location types of pinball machines, events, high scores, users’ favorite locations, etc. There are also a few examples of how the data is being used.

The primary focus today is on analysis and visual design. I’m expecting work that allows me to find or provides insights and it MUST be visually appealing. I want the dashboards to be something people will want to use (i.e., engaging) and picture it being on a website (like the examples).
